Chef Savage uses fresh Colorado ingredients to create unconventional flavors in his dishes, which explode the senses. He even has a weekly internet show featuring some recipes to allow you to recreate a meal at home. In season, the Cliff House at Pikes Peak, offers an outside veranda dining room. Here you can eat off the same menu while enjoying a breathtaking evening sunset.
Pikes Peak’s Cliffhouse has received numerous dining awards. It boasts a wine list with hundreds of selections ranging in price from very inexpensive to more selective. It is fine dining, but has tremendous value and competes in price with higher end chain restaurants. They offer certain specials, such as “Table for Two”, which includes a three course dinner.
Very few restaurants offer great, affordable food and service. Pikes Peak’s Cliffhouse fills this description. It is elegant and upscale, but comfort is the primary goal. There is no dress code and all are welcome.
